The lower back

Low back pain is very common. Any pain between the lowest ribs and the gluteal fold is classed as low back pain. Low back pain is one of the world's most common injuries. 95% of cases of low back pain are non-specific, meaning there is no specific structure identifiable causing the pain. There are three categories of low back pain. Based on duration, physical, psychological and social factors the right treatment plan will be selected. Stiffness, tension and radiating pain are common symptoms of low back pain. Staying mobile and doing exercises is recommended to reduce the pain. The supporting muscles of the lower back can be strengthened through exercises.
